It shows me that your level contains scientists who like living half-way through floors, but other than that....no.

What's the story, Show us a screenie that displays your lighting skills, level design skills,etc.....

Come on!

Well now it tells me it's something you made in 15 minutes by slapping together a bunch of segments and entities.....(near fully stock)...

Okay dude, sorry about being so blunt, but here's the situation:

Never post a screenie of a game unless you're spent a fair amount of time on it, perfected the lighting and just make it generally look good. Many users of these forums have a thing against the stock media, and rightly so. Your games can only be as good as the media you have (among a few other things...) but you will seriously need some more. Download some off the models and media section of the forum and make the investment of buying some media packs off TGC. They will make your game so much better. To use the lighting you have to insert lights from the markers section into your game, and right click them to adjust the propeties. It takes a lot of practice to perfect, so don't expect to get it right on your first (or seccond) go. Another thing you'll need to do is place entities properly throughout the levels. Never just place an entity for the sake of it, make each have a purpose. The choices of entities the better your game will look (hence lots of media).

I'd reccommend making a few sample levels to test out the AI, lighting and physics. Once you have a good grip, try making a stand alone game using all of your skills. Make it only about 1-2 missions though. Also, read the manual from cover to cover, it will tell you everything you need to make an awsome game.

The more you practise the better you'll get, in the near future, you'll be as good as any of us here.

Keep at it and you'll make some killer games in no time! If you have any other questions though ask the guys here on the forums, most of them will be more then happy to help.

Good luck mate!

no offense but this game is pretty crappy. The menus were stock FPSC backrounds that hardly show what the game is bout. You also didnt get rid of that anoying default huming noise. The game wasnt much better. There was abolutley no lighting, there were randomly placed entities, the levels were ridiculousy short, the segments hardly matched the setting of the game, the story was almost nonexistant, and the enemies were brain-dead. If u fix these problems, the game mght have some potential.

I would say...read Nickydude's hints and tip guide....
follow some stuff in it...download some free media from around here.
Train your skills with FPSC...and than post some screenies....why?

Because everyone on these forums are really nice to new people
who are posting threads for their games..

Dont take all those comments to seriously...just keep enjoying FPSC
and make some fun levels with it.
And let the "bah...you stink at FPSC" comments just float away.

Hey! Welcome to the forums by the way! And hope to see some more screenshots!
