I'm not trying to be a dick, but power mousey - how could you be 400 pounds and need a friend to tell you your fat?

I am just really curious. Body image and stuff is something very interesting to me and I offer a world of congratulations for sorting it out man. Shifting weight is really hard I gather.

Your all very critical behind your computer screens..i think maybe some people here might be just a bit fatter than they let on.

Seriously though I do feel really sorry for this kid, her parents are obviously retarded and have no clue what food is.
The reason why in Britain 1/3 of children are obese is that the parents don't understand about nutrition. I have a fat friend who when he gets hungry he eats chocolate! That will make no difference, you'll still feel hungry because you haven't got the nutrition that your body is crying out for, all you've gained is weight!

I believe she has a condition called 'Prader Willi' syndrome, basically it's a genetic defect which means she never gets full or she doesn't have the sensation of being full like most people do.

If her parents are feeding her that crap, then they should be ashamed, it's heart breaking to see this.

I doubt she could be forced to eat 15 burgers, bottles of coke, chips etc... all in one go, I am willing to bet that Prader Willi syndrome is to blame, although the types of food she eats obviously does not help her weight which is why she needs a strict diet, it is possible to lose weight with this condition.

Don't forget she is only 7 years old, most 7 year olds don't eat alot anyway and at that young age her stomach would not that big unless she has a genetic defect, so she isn't just being 'forced' to eat this stuff. People with this condition can get very aggressive and abusive if they don't get food as their hunger cravings are alot more intense than the average person.

Doesn't matter, my friend has that "prader willi syndrome" and he is not that much bigger than an average rugby player. He says all it takes is some self control and to watch what you eat, since he didn't want to become the blob. This girls parents obviously didn't give a crap and just kept on feeding her what she wanted, or just let her keep eating.

Yeah, I'm not saying they shoved 15 burgers down her throat at birth, but over time if they over-fed her, her stomach would stretch and she'd get a bigger appetite, and like Chenak said all it takes is self control, and since she is only 7 and obviously not in charge of her own food, syndrome or no syndrome the parents are totally to blame.
