q1) how do you move textures around on a surface in sketchup?

Once i have worked this out i will release a free pack containing 5-15models! thanks

Either take this to 3D chat or the Sketchup forum. In Milkshape there is a texture coordinater under the tools menu that works like the program itself with MOVE SCALE ROTATE etc.

I don't know if it works like that in Sketchup though... Give it a try.
