FPSC Classic Scripts / More variables than Health+Lives

I'm trying to create a survival-horror game with a buy ability like the merchant in Resident Evil 4, but I'm having a bit of trouble. I got a buy script from another site that uses health, and I've looked at the FPS creator source code, and I'm not sure where I would squeeze that in. Anyone wanna take a shot at what to do?

I think highly of myself. So what?

Slap in a global variable and add a scripting command for it.

Until we get more variables (which are set to be added to V2), using the health variable was all I could come up with. There's something sick about trading health for guns, no?

To my knowledge, we don't have scripting control over the lives variable, so I would say no. Not for us who don't edit the source, anyway.

I've been very busy with work, but if and when it slows down again, I'm going to dive into the source. For some reason, we have people and teams who are adding a lot of visuals and such to the engine, but we can't seem to get a couple of variables. I guess there is no fame in that, or there is something very difficult about it.

TGC will probably beat me to it however, unless V2 takes another year.

I never played that one, but I plan on using those new variables for a storefront too.
I think that is why most of us need them.

It may take awhile because most people seem to want framerate improvements first, so Lee is serving the masses.

We have to wait for those variables, but at least he gave us headshots to play with while we wait.

At least, that is what I'm going to do until the variables arrive.
