My brain just exploded.

So it's like 3D working against the laws of 3D?

That's insane. Escher (sp?) would be proud.

Don't you just hate that Zotoaster guy?

Escher has always hurt my brain.

Looks like a fun game though.

That has to be fake... it's an 'impossible' object.

My guess is he built it a few diferent ways and put the images all together... Otherwise I have no idea how he did it. Excellent job on the photo manipulation if that's how it was done.

Agent, the lego thing only works when you look at it directly from that angle.
If you look at it side-on, then there'll be all sorts of unconnected parts that hang over each-other and the like

Correct!
Yes, it is just clever camera work. It's not 'impossible', as much as unlikely.

It's not, its photomanipulation, as explained: here.

This game looks really cool, but it's certainly not worth buying a console over.

This reminds me of some old stick figure puzzle games I played that were on those huge floppys. It seems very cool.

I was going to buy a PS3 for little big planet.

(Well for a BluRay player also)

It looks really good! Very original.

I am going to buy a PS3 because it's a "Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine"

Aside from the George Foreman grill jokes, I can't afford the bugger. Echocrome would make a fun PC game too and as said, hopefully it'll be out for the PC.

It won't be out on PC as it's a Sony game. It's coming to PSP and PS3.

I'm looking forward to it quite a bit

Well, this game is nothing new, it's been shown I think at E3. Although I don't think anyone have mentioned it on this forum. Personally I'm not much of a puzzle game fan. This game is cool but it doesn't appeal to me. Little Big Planet looks far cooler and funnier to me.

It looks like something you could make in Flash or something graphically, but I really have no idea if that'd be possible or not hehe.

I don't see why they had to photo-shop it.

All it would have taken was to have one in the background that was only half-length, and one in the foreground that was only half-length.

Not too hard in my mind (but then again, my mind is pretty messed up )

There is a PC version... Well its not really a game, but its the system that Echochrome uses to make the levels.

Download: http://tserve01.aid.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp/~fujiki/ole_coordinate_system/exe/OLECoordinateSystem.zip

Edit: If you like the idea of Echochrome, you should also check out the game Crush on the PSP. It uses the same concept as Echochrome, in that the view of the level influences how your character reacts to it. Its a pretty nice overlooked platforming puzzle game.
