A few previews of the Game art:

Your screenshots don't really show anything, and words like humongous don't sell all that well. Plus, I don't want to sign up just to look at your forum. Is this really ready for a WIP thread?

Actually, your introduction looks so run on, I'd dare say you've just hurried to post this after forming a team with no idea what you're actually doing.

one_texture + one_model + vanilla_game_description < WIP

Unless you have screenshots for the start of some sort of engine, this sounds like a team request.

But at least you're not offering a percentage of the profits!

I'm not a real programmer but I play one with DBPro!

Ok, sorry to everyone about how crappy that last post was. It's just that I can't really reveal too much without

What do you mean by editor? If you mean level editor, then yes. It's a modified version of "MAGIC WORLD" (I modded it to support physic's commands). The only plugin I will be using at the moment is newton physic's, for physics of course :p.

Right now, we have a pretty good idea as to what the story will be about. Although, again I can't reveal too much info on that as of yet. We have a ton of concept art that need's to be modeled for the first level(A tropical beach level), and a fair amount of original midi music. As of now, I am the only one working on the programming, and I've pretty much got the menu system set up.

It's true that I rushed the first post and I apologize for that. However, this game has been planned for over two month's and we have the concept art for the level's/character's all set up and everything. The main problem here, is the lack of Darkbasic programmer's on the team.

Sorry, the forum's are really there for requesting to join our Dev Team. There really isn't much to look at yet, but we are working on it.

That's because I don't intend to make a profit off of this game Although I could post a link to a developer's website for advertising... Mind suggesting where I could find some Dark Basic programmer's besides gamedev.net because I already tried there.

@Game pro- Look forawrd to seeing progress on your game( if it's similar to mario 64 I loved that game!). I am a video game programmer for Dbp but sorry i'm already busy on my own commercial game. I'm also working on 2 freeware projects so i'm really busy. Although I'll give better feedback once I see a screenshot of the game. All the best, Beastegargoyle

Streets of Rage the best 3d beat em up ever check out the wip on apollo forums!
