Hi,

my friend wants to sell me his Samsung Q1 UMPC, but i only want to
buy it if my DBPro Programs work well.....but when i try to run
my current project on the Q1, it crashes when running the compiled
.exe with a Hardware Error 1507. Something about can't find any
supported Hardware (for Displaying).

When i run the same .exe with an external Flat Screen connected it
runs with no problem, it just don't want to run with the internal
Display of the Q1.

Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a way to get it
to work ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks in advance,

FPS-Net.

Set your games so they use 16 bit depth instead of 32. The Q1 is 16 bit only I think.

[Edit] I forgot to say - using the Set Display Mode command.

Also make sure you have your program running at a low enough resolution, it's only able to display 1024x600.

Yeah, your probably trying to run in a resolution that the laptop monitor cant do, but the external monitor can.

Just remember to check for the maximum available resolution and use that if the monitor cant handle the resolution you originally wanted to use. (If that makes sense?!)
