I know its a new and scary concept "E-mailing" customer service, but I was looking for the same thing a while ago, and here you are...

Quote: "Hello,

Thank you for your interest in World of Warcraft!

World of Warcraft is available for Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP and Macintosh® formats at a suggested retail price of $19.99 (USD) in the U.S., and includes a free one-month subscription to the game. World of Warcraft does require a subscription fee. This fee is needed to support the costs associated with the high-quality levels of service, support, and ongoing content creation that we are implementing for World of Warcraft. Players will be able to play World of Warcraft under one of these three subscription plans:

- $14.99 per month for a month-to-month recurring subscription (paid in full at the beginning of the billing cycle)
- $13.99 per month for a 3-month recurring subscription ($41.97 paid in full at the beginning of the billing cycle)
- $12.99 per month for a 6-month recurring subscription ($77.94 paid in full at the beginning of the billing cycle)

Payment methods we accept for subscription fees are credit cards issued in the regions specified for launch (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand), PayPal, and pre-paid game cards, which are non-transferable between regions. If you have a debit card which carries the logo of a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), you should be able to use that as well. All funds are paid in USD. Because the Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand pricing is subject to fluctuate with the exchange rate, we are unable to legally provide you with a pricelist. Please contact your local financier for the most up to date exchange rate or look online using your favorite search engine for an "exchange rate calculator". Subscriptions are recurring unless otherwise canceled by the account holder.

This payment information is for the North American Release only. Please note that there are regional restrictions currently in place; please see the Localization FAQ for more information (http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowbilling/?id=abl01663p). If you are inquiring about payment for another regional release, please contact the support for that region using the links below.

Runescape is a giant time waster. You spend more time building your character than you do actually playing a game. Unless you enjoy chopping down trees, watching your character fish, or running obstacle courses all day long.

Runescape was a good game, once. But now they have taken PVP out of the game to stop chinese sweat shops selling game gold. So you can no longer go into the wilderness and kill people. Also, they have limited the trade feature, you can not trade items that are lower in value than each other, within a 30k < or >. Kind of sucks now, so its WOW all the way

Some interesting views on Wow.

I'm a regular player and have to say that theres nothing that comes close to it as far as mmorpg's go.

And i've played a wide variety of them. Wow is a very polished game now.

The more you play Wow, the more of the game you get to see and the better it gets. Also the game isn't short of humour, something thats sadly lacking in most games today which makes it a pure delight to play and is something thats often overlooked.

I can see how newcomers to the game are put off because of the limits that are put on new players. All a newcomer can really do, is take boreing quests to kill x amount of creatures in order to raise theyre level until they can leave the newbie zones.

Although this introduces the player to the basic game mechanics of the game it is quite boreing especially if you were expecting alot more to begin with.

But, if you stick with the game, you do get your rewards. And as you increase in level the more of the game becomes available to you.

Wow is a solo game to begin with. As a beginner you are unlikely to group with other players simply because you are inexperienced in group play. You will solo play for a while until you raise your levels enough and gain enough play experience where you can group. Then the game becomes a solo / multi player game. This happens at different points for different players.

I have played many long sessions solo and had great fun doing so, likewise i've had many great group adventures.

It's really a player choice to either play solo or grouped. The game doesnt force you one way or the other.
Some quests are group only, but are not mandatory, so you could play entirely solo and i'm sure some players do.

Well graphics ain't everything now are they?
Would you prefer a super graphicly amazing tech demo or a game that is easy to use, fun and enjoyable?

Whats the diffrence between WoW and Runescape? WoW is the most ADDICTIVE game. Which isn't too good as a child died cause its parents were playing WoW constantly
