Hi,

I'm a new user, so apologies if this is an obvious question.

I'd like to create a script to allow the player to look at documents in-game. For example, the player presses a key and a journal screen is displayed.

I've read through the manual and searched on the forum, but I haven't found an obvious starting point to try this. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

This is a rough idea on how to do it, download the Hints and Tips guide for a proper walkthrough. You will need to create the image you want to appear, and save it as a .tga. Then place it in the languagebank\gamecore folder. Then place a trigger zone on your FPS map with a script that when a key is pressed the image shows. I'll try and find one for you
