If DBClassic has the TEXT command - Yes you can. I think you can select fonts, and change font sizes.

Also - Scope out the Issue 59 Newsletter if no luck with TEXT command - as there is has bitmap font tutorial with source code. (Using Images to create sprite based text - very GAME Looking! )

DBC has TEXT
look it up in the help file, there's a whole section on text.
Commands Menu > Text
That section has all the commands associated with text
