Hi,
Well I set up my own website that's about TGC and its products. It really needs some improving in terms of info and i would greatly appreciate it if you email me with something to put on the website. Soon it will have a forum and a .com domain. Well here's the link if anyone's interested.

Sorry about the ad at the bottom-it is forced by site sled.

Looks pretty good, quite a simple site but that seemed to work alright . Nice and basic did the job for me.

I wonder if you could get away with making an extra paragraph at the bottom of the page(If you're using HTML) to push the ad off the screen, sort of like on the main page, the mandatory ad seems to ruin it unfortunately.

Not sure what the point is either. But, a constructive bit of advice would be to make better examples showing the command difference between DBP and DBC.

Don't say stuff like
Quote: "Basically Dark Basic is a older version of Dark Basic Pro"

for starters "basically" sounds funny with "BASIC" too, and you are making DBC sound old and past it. Something like "DBC was the original Dark Basic software, it was designed to make 3D programming accessible to everyone.." or something along those lines. Talk about it like you've gone back in time to when it was released.

The site is simple and obviously you haven't finished it yet so I can't really tell what it's for, but it's clean and clear and looking good so far

That sound decent?

My 2 cents...

The design is certainly... err.. Clean?

Content is.. lacking. Needs more.

You describe it as a 'community site'. How is it community? I see no way of interacting. There isn't even a free & dead forum!

5867Dude - I didn't mean my comment in a negative criticism way... My point was that you posted a link here about a 'community site' and when we go to it, it looks like a project barely started. Advice: Post up about a project once you have something 'worth' showing (or something at all)...

Also, in your original message...
Quote: "It really needs some improving in terms of info and i would greatly appreciate it if you email me with something to put on the website."

So... You've made a 'community site'.... except there is no content on it (yet)... there is no way for users to contribute (yet)... and you'd like US to give YOU content for YOUR site? Hehe... Sounds like a good deal!

Seriously though - good luck with it. Its a VERY worthwhile learning experience (making your own site), so dont give up. I just think you might have been a little premature in announcing it.

Sorry for misunderstanding you there.
If a mod could lock this as I believe that it needs a bit more work on it!
