I like to share my excellent experience i made with this provider. i know, it looks and sounds like plain advertising, and, somehow it is . but i searched for a long time for such a service, and i could not find something like this elsewhere. so if you're up for something free, reliable, and popupfree, it may be the end of your search. plus it has a real good and fast admin team which cares for you and website related probs.

* No banners or pop-ups!
* 300 MB space
* 10 GB bandwidth
* 7 MySQL databases
* PHP 5
* phpMyAdmin
* 5 Add-on domains
* 5 Parked Domains
* Vista Panel control panel
* Automatic Script Installer
* FTP account
* File manager (& browser upload)
* Password-protected folders
* Clustered servers (fast & reliable!)

Thanks for the link, I was looking around for some web space and this looks like one of the best. I was going to go with unlHosting.info but this one has more MySQL databases which sounds stupid but I'm going to need all i can get.

Well I think that 110mb or sitesled are better.
Not to be rude or anything.
110mb
*5GB Web space
*300GB Bandwidth
*No Ads
*Awesome loading times
*99.8% Uptime

Sitesled
*250MB Webspace
*1GB DAILY Bandwidth (Around 30GB a month)
*Only one ad
*Frontpage Extensions

If you want a example of a sitesled page then go to
TGC Communtity!

Or 110mb
My FPS Games
But that looks like a good host. Might try it!

Those 3 webhosting sites look great! I have a question which one in your guy's opinion would be best to host a commercial game on it's site and be able to dwonload the latest for the game: say the demo, video's, patches, and the game?

Streets of Rage the best 3d beat em up ever check out the wip on apollo forums!

Well what i do is store the games,demos, videos etc on FILEFRONT. Then just choose any host with decent bandwidth and go with that host. On your web page provide links to the download files.

kind of a stupid question...

Do any of them allow you to have a site like "mysitename.com" instead of "mysitename.theirsite.com"

If not, what would I want to look for?

You'd need proper hosting if you need a domain name. Most won't give you one free.

However, I'll be happy to host you if you have your own domain name. Simply head over to http://www.itmustbetrue.org/tgc-member-hosting/

Password is "tgc".

You'll need your own domain name. You can purchase one from www.domainsite.com, it's all I use for domains.

Once you purchase your domain, you can sign up, and once I sign you up, I'll give you the DNS servers that you need to point your domain name to.

(Note: I do ask that you link to one of my sites on one of your pages, if it's not too much trouble)

Hurray for teh logd!

[EDIT] Never mind

Thanks for the offer, but I don't have a domain name right now and don't feel like buying one yet. Thanks anyway.

Domain names really aren't that expensive you can register one for a year for under 10 bucks. That's a pretty good deal.

I also think dyndns.org will let you register some free ones, but they will have something after it like. www.yoursite.something.com
