I remember reading a long time ago (newsletter 7 or 8) that DarkBASIC Classic was available free for schools to use. Is it still free for schools?

I'd like to try it on a couple of my pupils. Seeing a sprite move in response to a short self written program is so much more rewarding than finding out what the tenth prime number is.

I it is still free then where would I find out how to go about getting permission to use it?

Go to the homepage and click on Contact>Presales
Then write a message and someone from TCG will answer you.
Unless they spot this and answer here first

I posted my request to Presales about using my copy of DarkBASIC Classic in a Special School for physically handicapped children and was told to just go ahead.

I don't know if this would apply to mainstream schools or if the school would need to be supplied with a cd. I'm happy though

A nice bunch?

Yes, and not bad at writing languages either.
