www.lost.eu
[has nothing to do with the TV show]

A "game" I found on the internet, it's not as other games, wich you can really play:
You get a link, have to give this link to other people and gain points for doing that.

---------------------Lost---------------------

Lost is an online game that connects people in new and creative ways.

The concept

The concept
Unlike most other sites, Lost isn't trying to mirror real-word friendships or connections.

A mixture of online game/street art/social network, Lost is a community of people connected through links written down and left in random places all over the world. From a single link written on a piece of paper and left in a cafe in the UK, over 400,000 people from across the world are now linked together by notes left in railway stations and written on websites.

This is an experiment to show how curiosity and creativity can link thousands of people together in unique and interesting ways. This project is constantly evolving, and so if you have any ideas about the future and would like to be involved, post a message on the community forum and we'll get in touch!

How to play

Lost gives you points for connecting yourself to people in the most interesting and creative way possible.

Once you join you'll be given a unique Lost link (it's written on your home page) that you can write somewhere on the internet or in the real world. Anyone who follows this link joins the game and becomes part of Lost.

How to win

You get 32 points for everyone you invite, 16 points for anyone invited by them, 8 for anyone that they invite, then 4, 2 and 1. Your points exist as long as the player who gave you them is still in the game. If he or she loses, they vanish.

The prizes

The game will end when it reaches 7 million players. Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st - $5000
Top ten - $500
Most creative photograph - $500

Other prizes may be awarded from time to time for high scores or good photographs. Details of these will be posted on the scores page.

Currently there are about 500'000 people in the game.

---------------------end of description---------------------

What do you think about this game?

I like the idea. I hope you'll join it and like it too.

So I go [Whatever my thing may be] and anyone who clicks on that gets invited, and I get points...
OK. Interesting.

Referrers are generally frowned upon.

Especially ones who worship what they refer us to.

You don't have to put links everywhere.

And yes, referrers are frowned upon.

Wow that's awful.

That is like someone attempting to make the most complex form of a message board, add a basic RP to it, while on crank.

Yes it's not such a good thing to do while on a crankshaft.

It's funny, I couldn't be bothered with Bioshock, Mass Effect bores me to tears, but I'm really enjoying lost via domus. It's no secret that I'm a big lost fan, but it's actually quite a decent adventure game, reminds me a little of Resident Evil 4.

I don't think it's very long though, reckon I've almost completed it already. I just loved pressing those famous buttons, very authentic...

Doesn't surprise me at all, I expected it to suck . 95% of games based on something already existing do.

Besides, its a mystery show. So they really couldn't reveal anything.

Completed Via Domus yesterday, paper thin I know but I did enjoy it while it lasted. Holding onto it in the slight hope that they'll add DLC. Really I'd love to have seen a survival mode, maybe made it so you have to keep pressing those buttons while exploring the island, like Kelvin. There really isn't much exploring to do, nothing like what I'd hoped for.

One to rent I think, unless your a die hard Lostie like me.

I know, I just wanted to make my own banner for that game and searched pictures releated to lost.

Have you seen the first Pirates of the caribbean game? It has nothing to do with the film. That one sucks. But sometimes it's also that the first games of a series don't suck/are great, but if they know they'll make money with their game anyway then you notice that and it's going to be crap.

The same for music and films.
Don't you think?
