This has been happening in games like City of Villians, Garrys Mod and sofar just that, I havent really seen it in others but it gets really crazy...just wondering whats going on , gave my girl a fresh clean too! (Its was happening before clean x_x)

Heres another, the level just magically dissapeared lol, and there was more creapy stuff to the screen but printscreen didnt capture it (wierd fuzz lines in squares positioned in rows on the screen and rainbow colored models for shade)

Its a Geforce 6800, and my CPU temp is at about 42 when playing game so Graphics card cant be hot, I also have it in the coldest environment near the window where all the cold air is coming in at...but ive had this card for 3 years...

Yes, it looks like the video card is damaged in one way. This happened to my (first) 8800 GTS. Artifacts and triangles flying everywhere, entire scenes of meshes and textures disappearing, etc. Probably corrupted memory on the card.

Time for a replacement

I've had that problem before with COD2 (yes, I have an old NVidia GeForce FX 5200). All I did was upgrade my vid drivers, and she was all good.

However, if you previously didn't have any problems, and there's been no updates to the game that you've installed recently, then I would hazard a guess it's starting to give up the ghost...

well it was a good run, tried updating drivers but same problem, I guess this is a sign for me to stick to work , gives me more time for Daikanu Online

open your case and remove the dust from your heatsinks

I don't want to worry you but i have seen a PC set on fire because it was never cleaned.
