Very few Laptops can run DBPro at acceptable rates. I tried 2 top of the line Laptops. A Fujitsu 2.4 MZ 64 Meg Radeon , A Toshiba 1.4 Centrino 32 Meg Nvidia.

The Toshiba could just about run the same frame rates as My PIII 600 with 64 Meg NVidia. The Fujitsu ran about half the FPS.

Put your favorite demo that shows FPS take it down to the store and try before you buy, or insist on a complete money back return.
