Ok, everyone knows Dell makes it's profit from advertising a low price then charging over the odds for an upgrade option but check this one out that i just found! 3-3-2008 19:00

roffle, you should try and order it then sue them for unethical business practices .

But seriously when i worked for Dell as a sales man i saw stuff like that all the time, there web designers are lazy as hell...

What are you complaining about, they're even giving you a 10% discount

Theory is when you know something, but it doesn't work. Practice is when something works, but you don't know why.
Programmers combine theory and practice: Nothing works and they don't know why.

Have you seen the bit that says delivery will be delayed by 2 weeks while they increase production? Once they have your order, it changes to 5 weeks!

I ordered a laptop for my parents. When I emailed "customer services" about the 250% increase in delivery time, they blamed it on "the factory". After explaining that I purchased from Dell, not "the factory", that I didn't have a contact at "the factory", and a few things about distance selling regulations, misrepresentation et al, the delivery time was significantly reduced - to the originally advertised time.

So if you want a Dell, and you don't want the delays, make sure they know you have rights as a consumer.
