Hi,

I'm working on a FPS game, I was thinking on MMORPG but I dont have much time so FPS is a good options because require less coding, this is my progress.

- NAME: unnamed yet.
- PROGRESS: its very early test and code implementation. (like v0.000...1 pre-alpha)
- STORY: is unknow.
- STYLE: maybe world war 2 or modern war.

Its a script testing version (very early version), so almost everything can be changed.

Here is 2 pics of unknow FPS using "Evolved Water Shader" and "Terrain":

Maybe further I'll ask for some help like add a good physics or other thing.

Any comment are welcome (good ones will be more welcome >.< ).
I hope you like it and thanks for you time.

It may look great, but it's nothing much. Only part he did in those screenshots is position the gun on the screen. No offense, but this isn't ready for a WIP.

not really, I was thinking on Half Life 2... but Crysis is a good FPS to use as reference.

I played many FPS games from old wolfenstein 3D and dooms on 386 pc to Crysis of course on new pc and I was thinking regroup best of all games in one FPS.

Years ago I posted here a FPS beta demo based on world war 2 when Dark Forge Snippets volume was a sticky post maybe its still here....

You right, looks very simple so that is why I posted "very early version", of course in future I will use own made levels, etc.

And its not only a centered gun and bunch of text on screen there fw things that you can't see on the pics like magazine counter system, weapon selection system, fire and reload system, fire rate system (single, automatic using RPM) and some sounds.

In this WIP you shots with M249 Saw about 725 RPM, and now I'm making overheat system for automatic weapons. The most important things to me its finish first all codes codes.

Looks great, but uh.. Why is there a terrain inside a building/structure? It does take thousands of years to form a mountain.

Hmmm... Then how about, why would a man make a terrain inside of a building/structure?

People do it in movie sets. But still I understand why you think its weird.

Could be a training area, I have marshalled at indoor paintball arenas that have had fully built up terrain like that in in-door structures where they can't have it outside, like inner city areas.
