I hope this is the right place for this post. I was wondering if anyone knows why I dont have all of the properties listed for my Entities. I thought I should have the ability to specify if it's dynamic, static, it's color, and AI options.

I've attached a screen shot of one of the properties I have available for lights.

I just double checked, and this is also true for AI characters, and any other sort of Entity. It's kinda frustrating. I can't even follow along with the tutorials with this not working.

Post your screenies in JPG...

Also, yes, we are all aware of that ... slightly encumbersome set-back in the way Lee (or whoever) setup the Properties list for specific Entities.

Sorry, will do.

So, how do I access the properties? As of right now I still have no idea how to add a script because I can't find the AI or dynamic sections. If it's a known problem im obviously just not looking in the right place.

I found a few posts referring to switching between sp and mp modes to achieve some results. Can anyone elaborate?

maybe you picked a wall furniture light, but that'sjust the entity, youneedto place a light marker to let it really work.

What im doing specifically is picking a light, placing it on the ceiling or wall. Then I grab a light marker. When I select it to view its properties, there's no dynamic or color options. Are these jus disabled in mp mode?

In order to edit the lights for multiplayer (which is just stupid), you MAY need to temporarily switch over to SP editting mode. This can be done through the Preferences dialog.
