I just found a new rouge antispyware called xpantispyware 2008 appearently it only shows it's pop up messages when I visit www.ijji.com picture belowe so I just want to ask I got the message twice infact 2nd time a test heres what I did the first time I went to ijji after a few secs I got the message I used alt-f4 to exit although I should have exited after turning off my modem then I downloaded avast and spybot they both found nothing then the second time I went back I got the same message I didn't download as well I just exited then I scanned my computer with "Malwarebytes' RogueRemover FREE" anti-spyware they found nothing as well. So now I'm stuck at this question I'm I infected or have I just barely escaped the pop up of doom?(Or I'm I not infected?). Oh I also wanted to say I unstall anti-viruses every time I scan something why? they slow down my computer and waste useful harddrive space. So if anyone has any Ideas please reply ASAP

[edit] notice how they spelled some words wrong as well?

It's possible you have an advertisement software installed. I've seen em before. Like an advertisement client, but considering it only comes up for you on that one site I'd say not to worry about it.

I just got an idea would someone test http://www.ijji.com to see if you get the same message. You don't have to do it and I don't really blame you either I just want to know if it's only me.

I don't get the message, but then again I'm using Firefox, so maybe that's it.

I don't know either...well I just scanned with ad-aware found nothing but a few harmless tracking cookies so I think Osiris is right it's just a dumb ad made by @$$holes to get people to buy their product.

Download Spybot S&D if you don't already have it.

I always used to use Spybot S&D until I read a recent review. I started using AVG's anti-spyware and it seems to work much better.

My guess is that it is just some random popup and you don't actually have a virus (unless you actually installed it ). I get things like those from time to time, not recently though.

No...unless you allowed it to download something, or let it use activeX.

That was a popup... It's built to resemble an actual program. Pretty well made. As soon as you click it, you're redirected to a site where they try to sell you fake anti-spyware programs. They're just trying to scare ya.

If it's an actualy Windows dialog, you may want to deactivate the windows messaging service. It was recommended several years ago when adware started abusing the service.

if I do that doesn't that mean all the warning messages that keeps me from doing something bad to windows will disspear too? E.g. deleting the C drive. Btw how would I do that?

nah, it doesn't deactivate dialogs altogether. The messaging service is for receiving messages sent from admins and such.

hmmm....I think I might give it a try in the near future. although I don't think that will stop them from redirecting me to their website.
[edit]
If you look at my picture see how they direct me to http://xpantivirus2008.com their website I don't think that has any thing to do with the pop-up and a little bit of extra info before they visited that website there was a nother url being loaded only about 1 sec I think they may have used a redirecting thingy or is that possible?
