The point is that we are putting pressure on the government, or rather our MP to change the imposed deportation. It isn't just a group, its a partition which will be handed to our MP. This isn't just one of those 'look at the poor kids, I'm a teenage girl so I'll cry now' type of thing. You shouldn't lock a thread just because you don't think its method is going to work. The fact is that the school has been advised to do exactly this in order to try and influence the decision.

Quote: "I don't wish to sound cruel, but is the family paying for their childrens education - or am I (and everyone else who has paid taxes in this country all of their working life)?"

Yes, we are paying for their education. However, if you consider the long term effects: These children got into good selective schools by doing well in a test designed to determine intelligence and capability. So, based on this we can say that there is a high likelihood that these children will do well in life and contribute to our economy. This means that it is a good investment, since the money spent on their education is paid back through taxation.

I locked the thead for a reason. Posting another about it is wasting my (and all of the other mods) time. We don't like that very much. Warning issued.

Now... STOP!

Just to add to this, the only reference to the topic is one Facebook page with 15 members and a site with no information on it. Based on this, it would be foolish to allow such a thread to remain, these things tend to end up asking for donations.
