Hi guys,
I'm having a problem. Whenever I use an automatic-fire gun (like the uzi, tommygun, minigun, mp40,...), and I only left click once, the gunfire sound continues to repeat. I tried changing the fireloop variable in the gunspec, but it didn't help.
I did try searching, but I couldn't find any helpful thread. Could someone try to solve this problem please? Thanks a lot.

I think i've got an idea, and it's so smart that my head would explode if I ever began to know what I was talking about.

Try reinstalling FPSC, or replacing the fire sound for all automatic weapons.

Hi,
GERM, I did try reinstalling FPSC once. About replacing the fire sound, i don't think that will help. I even did this: I opened the Colt45's gunspec (which is a ww2 pistol), then I changed it to an automatic weapon by changing the fire animation variable, and then the automatic Colt45 got the problem as well.

Did any of you guys get this sound problem before?
Thanks for helping me GERM

The gist of the matter is that everyone has this problem in some form or another. It's not a specific PC problem. It's just the way that the stock media was made.
