It went from spring to blizzard here in Ohio. Wow. That doesn't even make sense. We are expected to get 10 to 15 inches of accumulation tomorrow. 5 to 8 tonight. Jeeze. I was wearing shorts just the other day...

Yeah, I'm in the greater area of lower MI and the same BS is happening here too. I'm not a happy camper and have been rather depressed or edgy lately due to the 5 months of gray skies we've been seeing

I think Dazzag should have a whole horde of people throwing Kebabs at his Window, not just me...perhaps we could have the next TGC convention in Cyprus.

I can’t remember how
I can’t remember why
I'm lying here tonight
And I can’t STAND the pain
And I can’t make it go away
No I can’t STAND the pain

How could this happen to me
I've made my mistakes
got nowhere to run
The night goes on as I’m fading away
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me

Everybody’s screaming
I try to make a sound but no one hears me
I’m slipping off the edge
I’m hanging by a thread
I wanna start this over again
So I try to hold
On to a time when
Nothing mattered
And I can’t explain
What happened and I can’t erase the things that I’ve done
No I can’t

*CHORUS*
How could this happen to me

Because that's how God made our planet to work in the Ohio area. I'm up here too. Just got back in from helping plow / shovel / unbury the driveway. Lets just say that while shuffling the cars around in the driveway I had to get out and brush off the window's multiple times it's snowing so hard LOL. Nasty. It's gonna be all buried again in a few hours. I came in and all the snow on my hair melted and it was like I got out of the shower a half hour ago.

Dazzag says these things knowing full well that I have every intention of flying out and to Cyprus one of these days and moving into his pool house against his will

Here in New York State we had a massive snow storm last week, and the very next day 90% of that snow was melted away, and it's been raining now for several days (and in case anyone forgets, Binghamton is prone to flooding all of the sudden, we had a major flood here in 2006 and a smaller one shortly after that). So I'm wondering if the same thing could happen again . I did have a few reservations about global warming before, but I've seen all the evidence I need first-hand.

It's currently snowing here in Atlanta. It's the 3rd snow event this season, when we normally have one.

Al say's that the warming has disturbed the normal cycle and it's accelerating at an incredible rate, going from summer to winter in a matter of days, sometime hours. Next week will be the hottest summer on record and the following week the earth will freeze over as not seen since the ice age. I'm calling the media as soon as I finish here.

best.

It's not global warming Look at all the averages and highs and lows. For as long as we've been keeping track they are all in line. And we started keeping track a good while before humans had any impact on what causes global warming. They say there's a degree or 2 increase over the last 100 years, but averages DO change ya know? I bet when they first started monitoring averages over the first few years it was up down down up up up down. That's how averages work. Now I'm not saying that we aren't harming our planet and atmosphere, but I will say this. It's mostly a natural cycle this planet just goes through. Too many people use Global Warming as a scare tactic and it's annoying.

BTW cows release more bad stuff into the air than humans do every day At least that's what they say.

EDIT: http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/climate-change/cow-emissions-more-damaging-to-planet-than-cosub2sub-from-cars-427843.html

BTW though, yeah it sucks. Last monday I went to the zoo and I wished I had worn shorts. It was warm and nice 67 degrees. Next day was in the 30s F. Pretty normal though to have a fluke day or 2 this time of year.

Warming IS the normal cycle. The earth has gone trough cool and hot periods for as long as we know.

If you think it's crazy there, you should be here when it snows. All those redneck jokes about snow in the south are true.

First, everyone runs to the store and buys a buggy full of bread, milk, water and batteries. The women, that is. The men head for the local bottle shop. Of course, no one can drive in snow or ice around here. (or even rain it seems). When the snow stops, it's fun to go out and count the cars in the ditches.

Best.

I can't believe how bad some people are at driving on snow. This last winter when we had a quarter inch of ice and then snow on top of that, I had few problems driving around in my car...Then I come home and see on TV that Washington D.C. got an inch of snow and had declared a 'snow emergency', and people were sliding off of roads and getting stuck in slush...

Hahaha,
It's a chilly 60 deg. and sunny over here in Arizona. Not a cloud in sight. I had to use the A/C in my truck to comfortably drive across town.

But, to be fair, a couple days ago, I had to travel up to a little mountain-top town. Since it was warm and beautiful here, I wasn't thinking to take a coat or anything. Got up there and it was 17 deg. with about 3 feet of snow.

We were expected to get 10-12 inches where I live (lower eastern Michigan), but it just barely missed us. That means no snow day on Monday.

@AndrewT - The people here in Ohio seem to be cleaning it up fast. So I doubt I'll get even a delay on Monday.

It's around 15F here now. I hope it's warmer tomorrow, so we can go paintball...

Who says you can't paintball in 15F? It's bound to be more fun that way wearing bulky coats and gloves. Pretend your battling for Antarctica.

Because last time we went paintballing, I got shot in the head twice because my "friend" decided to switch his gun to full auto...

In war, bullets hurt.

We have had sunshine here in Seattle. Not normal indeed.
