There was some app that could do this (I read about it some month ago).
However, now that I finally found a good old low-poly game that I would like to extract and study the scenes of (it looks great allthough very low polycount; I would like to see how that was achieved), I can't remember the name of the dumping program.

A little reminder, please?

It's not illegal.....?

I can see why noobs who can't model themselfes would want it though. Not everyone enjoys their models being used without permission.

Anyways, i removed it then, but anyone who can use google won't have much trouble finding it on their own. Even without knowing the name.

Actually i have used that app and its useful.. Sometimes tho when you put some shaders into your dbpro app.. That program just rips off sphere nothing else lol

But want to know the useful part? Ok here comes.. Lets say you want to take scene of your app and then put that scene into your modelling application just like its in the game then use this and then you can even animate that scene and render or do some other stuff you want..

Oh, it isn't allowed?
I figured that, since I own a game, I can do what I want with it's content (for personal use, of course - not reusing their models!)

Anyways, I found it in my installed programs list

I might add in that it didn't work because the game uses an too old version of DX though.

You only have the right to use the game as is, not to use the media separately because you do not own the copyrights when you buy the game. Nobody is going to care what you do as long as you keep it to yourself.

Hrm, can't seem to find that program though I'd be very interested in it. I learned a lot from looking at e.g. Tony Hawk or GTA models ingame, and it would be nice to see wireframes etc..

I would really appreciate it if someone send me a link, name or something like that.
