...let me translate:
In
AC3D, the
surfaces listed
are the polys.
So, this model uses
2283 polys in the main body, and
224 polys in the turret. Thst's grand total of
2507 polys used in this model.
That's not too bad at all, especially with the recent v1.08 updates. Personally, I like to try to keep my models near the 2000 poly mark, and this tank isn't too far off from that.

...if there's no collision issues, that probably won't be a huge problem.
Did you lineup everything, so users can use the
B KEY function, to pop them together? If not, give me a little time, and I'll do that, and post the alteration here.
