I was thinking people can get different characters to shot at each other but not damage each other unless they have a explosive weapon so if we made duplicates of the weapons which are explosive then they would be able to kill each other and you could change the explsion decal to a blood one or something.

Go here, and find the simulated allies script.....

There's also a "dumb" ally that you can get to follow you, and will randomly fire if you press the Z key......

Your idea has been used... I recall at least 3 different people have already come up with the same idea and shared it here on this VERY BOARD.

If you truly searched before you posted, you would already know this.

Well you obviously didn't search properly, allies don't work without Empty's Mod, they just don't........

See download, I got 100 results returned, I would've got more, but the forum only lets you see the latest 100......

Ok i just heard that they can hurt each other with the bazooka and thought you could give them modified versions of guns that where explosive but it sounds like the guy who said it made a mistake sorry

is there any script which will give the player 1 health every 5 seconds which you could give to a trigger zone and strech it across the whole of your level

That is true. Since the bazooka is an explosive weapon, the explosion, not the weappon, will damage characters.

It's easy enough to make, but not a good idea. Any other script which used a timer would not work properly, and it would be a memory hog.

Here use this script. It is a one-time use script and it begins to restore health after a certain amount of time. The best part, no need to cover the whole level, just the player start marker.

I meant the guy who said they can hurt each other with a bazooka was wrong but they can so why wouldn't the explosive versons of the weapons work and thanks for the script by the way

In theory, it should work. I could not begin to tell you what needs to be done to convert the weapons to a flak type, or what other changes would need to be made to timing, sounds and visuals to make it realistic.

couldn't you use all the bazooka stuff but change the model
