I wanted to know if anyone on this forum uses that software, since I am looking for someone who is experienced with it to join me in a magazine production, we already have 11 issues out, is a leading GM Magazine that is supported by the creators. I need someone who has used Adobe InDesign CS3 to help with the progress of future issues – loads of rewards will be given.

The magazine I am talking about is called Game Maker Technology Magazine, your job will be editing the content onto the pages, so you don’t really need to know anything about the actual product – however that is an added bonuses. The magazine is trusted by the Admins of this website, who recently brought Six Months worth of advertising in the issue, if you don’t believe me, take a look at the issues.

If you do use it, then please can you post here and I will then contact you via email, also if you know anyone else who uses it then can you please direct him or her to this topic.

Thanks

I just use CS2, but I really don't have the time for an additional project. Good luck, though, it looks good!

You rang? Yes, I use Indesign CS3, as well as all the other CS3 programs. I'm a multimedia student at the Pittsburgh Technical institute and I'd say I'm fairly decent with indesign. I'm no guru, but I think I can get a simple magazine done. I actually did a short magazine (My own issue of Game informer) for my final project last quarter. I can send you pics if you're interested.

...but I am the ferret king!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! tremble before my ferret minions!

If you ever find time, then you know where to find me, and contact me about it.

Glad you use the software, you will be working a long side the current editor (if you get accepted) so you don't really have to create from starch.

Please can you send me a copy of the magazine that made, so I can have a look at your skills.

If anyone else is interested, then please also post here - I am more than happy to take a look at some of your sample work and make a decision on whose is best.

I have received them; I am just trying to put together a list of people who are interested, before I make any final decisions.

I am currently debugging and translating the CS4 suite (Scheduled for December but it doesn't look likely) ... it doesn't help you in any way, I just thought I'd throw that out there

No, Jonckers(UK). A translation and debugging company that Adobe (and M$ amongst others) uses.

Ah, so you were not responsible for the 3-5 minute loading screen every time some imbecile uses a PDF. Thank goodness for that.

@Gamez93:
Will do, sorry I'm just getting around to this, I don't currently have internet at home, so I only have access at school/the library. The stupid phone jack in my room isn't working for some reason...

EDIT: I'm all registered. Should I start a new topic to discuss this? Or Should I post in an already existing topic?

@Omega gamer 89 - I will send you a PM as soon as I get some time (it may take a few days).

Does anyone else use this software, I am building up a list and I plan to choose the best person.

I just realized this is basically advertising a job for a competitor's magazine (GameMaker is a competitor to DBP, much like BlitzBasic would be). Therefore I'm going to have to lock it. If you really want this unlocked and think the owners of TGC won't mind, feel free to contact them and someone with higher privileges will unlock it.
