Well it's out now in the US and Gamespot have given it a raving review, so it looks good. All I can say it that I'm jealous of you Americans getting months ahead of us Aussies!

Me wantz it NOW!!!

Also here are some other reviews that Gamespot links too,

Does the Wii have region locking?

Get a Wii Freeloader and then you too can play NTSC games on your PAL Wii...

It's pretty awesome. The levels are much more interactive; they have a WarioWare level, where you must complete mini-games while fighting, and there's a Picto-Chat level where you jump onto the various drawings that are being made. There's also a huge selection of characters, which is cool.

I dunno what he's talking about lol. It's feels alot better than Melee and faster paced with some of the characters.

Definitely not true--- I watched people at work play for about half a dozen matches and it seemed the same as always.

If they are I don't understand why... All it's doing is allowing you to play a game from a different region... It doesn't make any changes to your hardware it's much like typing a code into your DVD player to allow it to play films from a different region... I, for one, have never understood the perceived need to region lock hardware...

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Wii the only one of the next gen consoles to have region locking? I know I can play imported games on my 360 without any problems... I don't have a PS3 but I thought it was also region free for games...

We Australian gamers get gypped left, right and centre... We, usually, have to wait until after every other region has the game and to top it off we have to pay far, far higher prices to play those games... Importing ftw

Oh man... brawl is out, let all the fanboys and fangirls scream worldwide Looks like an amazing game though, I wish I had a wii to play it on.

Oh, how I remember those fond days of Super Smash Bro's for N64. Those were the good times

By far the best one yet. I only liked one or two characters each in the last SSBs, but I can't seem to find I guy I don't like playing in Brawl.

Have to say though, so far I'm a big Ice Climbers and Pit fan.

I was surprised how well the wiimote control worked. I'd actually use it if I could figure out how to throw properly.

Actually I read about those Freeloader discs, and how they work now but Nintendo is always trying to make them not work with the system updates. There are cheaper alternatives i.e. modding but that's definitely not legal in all countries and of course will void your warranty.

Straight from the page I linked to

Jeku,
Modding is legal in Australia (at least for PS2's) after the high court ruled that it's your hardware, you can do whatever you want to it!

So I'm allowed to Mod my Wii then?
Cool!

Like I said, it's PS2's that the High Court ruled on, so I don't know of the legality of Wii's, etc.

Having said that, the main jist of it was that if it's your hardware, and the company is trying to charge higher for the same product just in a different country, then modding is fine.

Probably not, as people here are always talking about their R4 and M3 carts for their DS. Just don't post links to "backup" games or any other illegal things. Homebrewing is perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

I definately don't speak for TGC when saying this, but in my personal opinion, I think that tools which allow you to play region-locked games are fine.

The same goes for homebrew tools (considering there's what, 3 of us mods who do homebrew stuff for the DS?).

The unfortunate side-effect of those tools are that they generally allow you to play pirated copies of commercial games. That is not ok.

Don't forget that your country's copyright laws may prevent you from using tools to get around region locking.
Don't go to jail just so you can play a game a couple months earlier!

It's not just for the PS2... Australian copyright law permits users to circumvent region locks for media that they otherwise legally own...

So as long you are using your mod chip/freeloader to play legit games it's all good....

I dont get how they balanced samus. Everyone else can use final smash without any reprocutions, but samus has to transform into zero suit and wait for 2 more smash balls to get the power again? Kind of lame, unless samus has some new amped up power Im missing that balances it out.
