Hey guys

What do everyone use to track their own bugs?
I have used various manual methods and a borland app called star team (which was pretty pants but did it's job!).
Am just curious what other people use as I am looking to get something better for myself. Currently looking at Perforce.

And I would very much like to hear what TGC use!

Cheers
Mike

Personally I don't think theres a reason to use anything but Excel, there's nothing that a special bug tracking app could do that a little Excel knowledge couldn't.

I use Excel for all sorts of development things, to-do lists, bug reports, type field lists etc etc. I even use it for roughing out GUI layouts at work.

less is more, but if less is more how you keeping score?

I use SVN for source code management. The service I use is Assembla.com, and it integrates with a couple of different bug-tracking applications. Best of all, it's all free for small projects (up to 200MB of data).

I use a block of paper that's split into 5 small blocks (see image). For bugs and features that I intend to fix/add in the future I use a simple .txt file. Both options are very fast and easy to use. I prefer writing todos on paper.

I'd like to know a good open source source-control and/or bug-fixing system. I wouldn't mind trying assembla.com but I don't like thinking a third party can have access to my code.
