FPSC Classic Scripts / lasers killing you??

can somebody make a script that when the player collides with an object it kills him,and is it possible that there is no colission at the entity but you can still apply the script to it?

...your second question is hard to understand.

As far as the first request, it's very doubtful that anyone is
going to create a script for you, upon request. How would you ever learn anything about scripting?

If you take the time to analyze some existing scripts, you'll
find the answers to how you could write such a script yourself.

Modify this single line to maybe remove all health. Reduce the plydistwithin to a smaller value. Use this as mainai script for the entity you want to use to reduce health or kill the player.

:state=0,plrdistwithin=60:plraddhealth=-1

Yes.

Put the following in the start script parameter.



Then put TZap's code in main. If you want the player to get closer use a smaller value in the distance condition. You can do that with collision off otherwise some objects - especially larger ones - will only let you get 60 units from them. Smaller objects you can get closer. If you want to kill the player just put a -500 for the plraddhealth parameter.
