Is there any way for Dark Basic to detect more than one mouse? I can see that it can detect the position of a single mouse but I have an idea for a painting tool which would use 2 mice fixed together. I would need 2 because not only would I have to detect the tools position but also its orientation. Would anyone have any ideas about how to achieve this within Dark Basic?

Thanks, Alan.

I doubt it - without an external dll.

MouseX(), MouseY(), MouseZ() and MouseClick() (along with their MouseMove counterparts) are all you have in DBC and they don't support device number parameters.

Have you looked at the Perform Checklist For Control Devices command with two mice connected? It might allow you to access a second mouse as another device.

That’s worth investigating. Thanks, Alan.
