If you haven't seen this movie you got to. Great action, great humor, great characters and a story that is original and surprising. It reminds me a lot of Sin City (especially with Clive Owen as the hero) but the gun fights are even better then both The big hit and Matrix. It's the best movie I've seen in quite a while, 5/5!

Wow, someone finally replied

I just love the style. Cheesy or not, it's definitely over the top I know a lot of people don't like this style but it is top quality with great acting and directing. Heck, the actors makes the movie what it is. This is the sort of movie you should not read about because it just sounds silly, but if you watch it then it just fits. It's not some stupid movie like Dead or Alive.

I think he does the job well. The result is an interesting and unique character. He's not meant to be of the regular sort.

That's Paul Giamatti, I think he's one of the best actors of our time in all seriousness. He's fantastic in the HBO mini-series "John Adams," really brings that character to life. He may not be Alan Rickman, but he fit the role perfectly I thought.

I thought this movie was fantastic. The bit with the sign shooting near the beginning (with messages I can't repeat here) was brilliant. But remember kids, eating carrots won't make you into some super assassin . The soundtrack was a bit lacking I thought, but otherwise a top-notch film.

I also recommend "Crank," they're both on the same wavelength. And they're filming a sequel (yes, a sequel, not a prequel) to Crank (and yes, Jason Statham is in it, odd yeah?) this summer, can't wait for that one!

Thanks, I remember reading about that movie or maybe I saw a trailer somewhere but had totally forgotten about it. An assassin that have to keep his heart rate up or die, that is an interesting story

it's a pretty nutty movie, he's filling himself with narcotics every five minutes, riding motorcycles half naked, a number of other adult-oriented stuff. It's a fun movie, sort of like Grand Theft Auto on film, but some people might dislike it for it's... shall we say, "liberal"... drug references and adult-oriented humor/ action.

All of our girlfriends/wives are exceptionally hot

I would love to see this movie--- I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll take a look in Blockbuster today.

I just saw Crank. It's not exactly the same style but it was really good and at times it really got me laughing, like the "I'm alive!" scene

Saw it actually on the first date with my then-gf. Hehe. (Talking about Shoot em up)

Action was great, and had to like the fact that it was filmed in TO. Some nice violent action sequences on streets I regularly walked on to get to school and the gym.

Including a scene where they were burying a body under a highway bridge next to a train station that I distinctly remember hanging out at last summer.

It got intelligent humor It's more a comedy then Crank but less a comedy then Hot Fuzz or Lock, stock and two smoking barrels.

It's very much similar to Sin City in tone, same kind of humor and I think it got about as much blood. So if you like either one the go for the other. Sin City is in a sort of stylish black and white where some parts are made whiter then they should and some parts are in color. Really good movie, a sequel is coming.
