In the next few days i will be posting some CSGs for you all to enjoy. (One every few days). Then, i shall make some more, but better, with added features, and will probably put them on the upcoming TGC Store.

Liscence: Use in non-commercial or commercial as you please. Credits not required, but would be appreciated.

Aaagreen,

There are a couple of good CSG packs out now. They have many different broken shapes and sizes. Perhaps try to do something different. Maybe some window or opening shapes that we haven't seen before? I don't know. See attached.

Best.

LOl, you might wanna try sphere's for CSG holes, but mess em up a little, it gives a really cool look, like the hole's been blown in the wall, rather than been cut out with a Jigsaw, Laser Guide, and that Guy out of Holmes on Homes........

I agree with Xplosy. Window shapes with glass would be nice.

this is a csg pack, you can either model your own glass, or use some from stock media/model packs

Aaagreen,

...if you could create a cutter that has the postion and shape of a small wall-mounted bathroom mirror, I'd be grateful. I'm sure many others would be, too.

It'd allow users to easily recreate S4Real's Mirror illusion.

I've tried creating a custom cutter, but didn't have much luck.

Thanks,

Seth Black

note to all:

todays csg will be something completely new, no-one has ever done one before... or even asked for. But it will go well with any scene, whether it's horror, industry, medieval or modern day.

Looks very nice, good job. That Double Pentagon (PTL/PTR) shape would be cool up high on walls for underground rooms. Just a thought. But I hope you make more.

This pack isn't just hole csgs. Throughout the month, i will post cracks, holes, blasts, drilled holes and much more. This isn't just another buttercutter.

Just a qquick question, maybe offtopic, but when you make a csg do you use Segment Editor? And if yes, do you only include the csg mesh? I havent figured it out how to make working csg´s

@BVG

You need to add in another mesh too, otherwise it won't work, then open the .fps file and put offsety=-200000 on the mesh you added in.....

@coffee grunt: Still, the mesh would be there, only very far away. Maybe you could trick it by putting in a simple box mesh that's not CSG-immune?

Unless you use a very small, one faced mesh, and lowered it to inside-floor level.

@Roger Wilco

Butters said that would lower the mesh 200 segements down, FPSC's maximum render range is 20....
