Hey guys, I've been working on this for about two weeks now. I have created a model .x format for a new door segement. All of the textures are in targa, with the end designation _D2. Also, there is a model in .x format for the door itself, the frame, and the csg I'm using. I was at first successful in putting it in FPS, however the object did not show the textures. So then I went back and made sure the No csg was on, so they wouldn't be punched through, and now I get an error everytime saying the object does not exist. Does anyone have any ideas? Or, is there a better program to use than the Segment Editor, in order to make doors. Thanks for the help.

try the entity maker for doors, and just add it in the segment's fps.

Yeah, You have to do that anyways in order to create an fpe, for the door, because it's considered an entity in the segment editor. It still won't turn out right.

Have you tried a different method like this?
1) Copy and paste a door segment (that's already made) to your desktop
2) Replace the model with your own
3) Change the texture with something like DDS Converter, then swap it
4) Edit the FPI (script) to make it ..like open
5) Test it

oops I farted.
