VII is one of my favourite games of all time But my disk's scratched so I can't get off CD1 anymore I should sooo get round to buying another copy

FFVIII was great!, but seven was better.

Of course, 8 was my favorite.9 got screwy at the end, but it was still a great game.10 was really good to, I also enjoyed some blitzball to pass some time.

1.-FF8
2.-FF7
3.-FF10
4.-FF9

I liked them all though.(sorry I never played 1-6)

FF 8 forever!!!! 8 is WAY better than 7 and I mean WAY better. Hands down no argument, 8 is second only to 10.

My 1st disk is scratched on my PS ver. so every time i finish the 1st disk it always frezes im going buy pc ver anyone no where i can buy one besides eabay and FF7 better than FF8!

8 rules, you just hafta have a braincell to play it(you know junctioning) 7 was fun for idiots, and 10 was fun for the illiterate.

Yeah and just one to enjoy it too.

I don't see how anyone could call FFVIII better than FFVII, maybe just the graphics. If you knew how to use 7's materia system you could kill off all the enemies before the battle even began, hell I've played a few battles where I didn't even need to attack, it was all automatic thanks to Counter, First Attach, Final Attack, and a few seclect spells.

What really killed FFVIII was the plot, or lact there of. Did anyone feel like they were marching through this game with no other motovation other than seeing CGs? FFVII's story was inspiring, detailed, complex, and emotion. Character devolopment was second only to FFVI, and no one can say that the Aeris scene at the end of disk one didn't move them. FFVII is supreme, why do you think FFVII websites out number FFVII's 142,000 to 99,600 (via goolge.com using roman numerals)?

Arrow is right. I think FF7 was the best game out of the FF games on the playstation(the first one). I didnt really like 8 too much, and I didnt like its music either...FF7 has great music
Um, 9 is fantastic, but i dont know if I like it more than 7..

Its all a matter of opinion really (But FF7 WAS the best )

You didn’t kick them, you just pushed them with your foot at a very high velocity!

8? bleck... VIII was too bloody complicated, too all of the fun out of it - and being set with a more human theme kinda lost its appeal to me.
That and the graphics were a combination of amazing effects and some painfully bad models (which also left it with a bad aftertast imo)

i love IX, 7 was good, first PS1 game i had, i liked 8 in parts,10 is pretty good, FF1-6 were good so were FFL1-3.

XI is very very heavily based on X ... infact its really is just an MMO version of it. If you know anyone who got into E3 they'll have probably told you it isn't anything special, if you didn't like X (like i didn't) you are gonna hate XI

I didn't like VIII, its the only Squaresoft game I've played that I didn't bother to complete

Front Mission 3
Chrono Tigger - Final Fantasy 6 - Final Fantasy 7, three way tie

Ya know I got a Super Famicom (the Japanese SNES) version of FF6 and CT.

gotta say i'm not a big fan of RPGs to be honest ... i like the RPG mentality - but i think that a real RPG is more suited to MMO play, i mean thats where its routes are as a community game and now we're getting back to that properly again its just alot of fun.

Crystal Fantasy for example is probably my favourite right now, wanna try the new XBox version ... but doubt i'd have time for anything else if i did hehee

Hmm...

I've little experience with RPG's, even though I love them.

I would have to put Chrono Trigger at the top of my list...that game...just planned rock. Just to hear the starting theme from that game makes me smile....ah Memories of when I use to play games instead of try to make them.

Thats my 2 cents..and no! You cant have it!

Chrono Tigger was something else, I've yet to see a game like that since, not even Chrono Cross.

FFVII is brilliant. I found that Sephiroth is THE best bad guy in the series. I even had him on my team. HOO BOY do you not want to cross him.

If I could, I would've. But I really want a proper sequel to FF7. That or FF8 (though I havent beaten either.) I also want a direct port of the original FFTactics to GBA, not a new one!

Tell me, how could there be a sequel to FF7? At least in X there's enough unfinished business to have one. FF7 ended complete, there's no need for another game. Remember movies or TV shows that ended great but then got crappy sequels; Dragon Ball, Scary Movie, ect...

First Berret needs to get a new hand and cid ran out of cigs and aries turns into a zombie and kills tifa

Anyway heres names of other games with FF7 chars

Echarges(fighting game with couple FF7 chars)

Parisite Eve II(Cloud and Aries name was metioned as a anti virus and a magazine...)

Well nevermind...i guess you'd only find unfinished business if you read into the game too much (like me)

for one, they were going to make it that it's possible to revive Aeris, but they ran out of time...and you can tell that's not just a rumor (sp?) because before you fight Bizzarro there's an extra empty little floating island thing. Also it was going to be possible to get Zack on your team somehow, I forget the full story....i think that's it...

Ok, I see this alot, so I'll say one time. AERIS IS DEAD!!! So is Zack, by bring them back you not only destroy one of the best scenes in a video game, you complete ruin the set of ethios the game sets up. Why is Sepheroth so bad, he refuses to join with the earth and become a part of the cycle. Aeris repersents all that is pure, she couldn't come back, else it would be so out of character. Remember she game her life to summon Holy, it would take away from it is she could come back. I'm tired of people who can't cope with this plot twist, fooling themselfs into beleaving that Aeris was ment for anything other than what happand. It's happend before people, Galuf from FFV died, General Leo from FFIV died, let it be, let her rest in peace for cring out loud.

I've seen far too many people whine about Aeris, imho I think that if she lived the game wouldn't be nearly as good. It was the final key that set the mood for disk two.

Yeah, I guess Clould wouldn't have been nearly as pissed off at the end when it came time to find old Sephi.

Speaking of which, I also heard that Zack was supposedly fighting Sephiroth before Cloud came for the final battle, and that's why Sephi had his shirt off and whatnot. If that was the case that would mean Zack wasn't dead (until Sephiroth killed him of course), and that could leave open a spot for Zack in the game, making it that you could potentially get him on your team.

Now remember, this is just something I read..

Dont think there is much unfinished buisness by the end of FF7, but, you never know, the following could make a great storyline for FF7-2

A)Every one of the main characters is dead, and in heaven. Aeris and Cloud reunited, yet Sephiroth on the loose in hell, to become Satan himself. Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Cid, Red XIII, Aeris, Cait Sith, and the other girl (boy, what a time to forget a name, in a FF7 conversation) have to stop him, or all hell will break loose, literally.

B)Somehow, the FF7 and FF8 worlds were mixed, and in order to set things straight, the characters from both games would have to set things straight.

C)Sephiroth returns from the grave, and a Devil Aeris (presume that the purest of pure went to hell) at his side. The gang has to stop them from taking over the world.

Yeah, great storylines for FF7-2
