Hi there..
I was wondering if there is a way to disable the screensaver in darkbasic. I mostly use a joypad for my own games but after a few minutes the screensaver kicks in. then I have to touch the keyboard or move the mouse to get my game back.

surely there must be a way to do fool the system into thinking that someone has touched a keyboard or a mouse.

That would be the long way around that fence. Try this instead:

thanks, i'll try that.

Although it seems odd to me to have a function call and an "end" command after a loop instruction.

The code is a little misleading. Basically, you need to make sure that you reset the screensaver setting before you exit your program, as it's a system-wide setting - something like this:
