I'm making a fps and i want what do you use to make maps and how to use them in a game and i'm looking for Free of doing it and i hear bsp's have problems, so can someone point me to a program and maybe a tutorial for using it in dbpro. Because its really painful programming maps in DBPro
Hopefully someone can help

DeleD is a good program for making maps or worlds..it has a free version...it has no animation but makes good maps...pirate

Looks nice but before i put it on my computer can you point me in to the direction of a tutorial on putting files made with it in DBPRO and does collision work for it?

this is my site..i have made an fps tutorial that you can download and there are a lot of tutorials in the tutorial section for dbpro and many other programs..there are tutorials for DeleD and a lot of other modeling programs...there is a forum there you can join if you need any kind of help... the tutorial is with sparky's collision..it has very good sliding collision...the entire level in the fps tutorial was made with DeleD free version...pirate
here is a screen shot..it has no light mapping right now..

Free and very basic map making and texturing program. Comes with Blitz3d. It exports to .x with texture data (as far as I can remember).

I Could Make some maps for you,They would be outside landscape maps becouse i rather not give you my castle that i spend over 20 hours on.

Wings3D is an option although it's not strictly for making maps it works well.

i got a demo version of db and i've made a skate park in cinema 4d. Does anyone know of anyway at all i can use this as a map?? I tried to save it as a .x file but don't know what to do with it then haha.
