Ok, long story short, i've left my old host, transferred my domain over to a new host, and gotten a decent hosting package with the new host hooked up to my domain. Now, whenever I view my site, I get the old "cPanel is set up, but no files are there bla bla bla."

However, out of about 10 other people I have asked, they all see my new site fine, which is damn weird - why aren't I seeing it normally?

First thing I thought, refresh the page and clear my cache. Done, still no luck. Next, make sure the nameservers for the domain are correct. I checked, and they're fine as well. I was told it may be an ISP problem by the hosting company... but I honestly think that there's a 0.00001% chance of that being true, what's different from my site to others that can affect the way the ISP displays it, only to me?

So, what i'm hoping you guys can do is give the site a test - www.verongames.com - and let me know (if you're in Australia) what you see when you visit my site? Do you see the site with the tan background and all the content working fine? Or do you see the ugly green background and the cPanel info splashed all over it?

Oh, I forgot to mention, I can view the site just fine through this - www.anonymouse.org

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks if you visit my site and post on what you see.

It works for me. Could be cached by your local ISP. Give it another day and see what happens.

How long ago did you update your domain name to point to your new IP?

It was updated on Friday, so about 48-72 hours ago. It could be cached, but after 48-72 hours, it should be working.

I've also totally disabled and deleted my old hosting account now, but that too had no effect.

The website is loading fine for me. It will be nice if you was to keep the credit on the template. This is where you got it from - http://www.templateworld.com/zero/in_action/jet_30/ - it's only right not to claim that as your own.

Hmm, well it could just be some error in some type of code they have with some setting in your browsers.

Wow nice site.

I'm in america, but it loads well over here. Haha.

Just something to annoy you about, the shadow under your header graphic has a sharp ending...you might want to stretch that out, or gaussian blur the edges.

Now the site refuses to load at all, through Anonymouse it works just fine, but when I go directly to the site I don't even get the green cPanel page any more, just the standard "Page Load Error".

Yep, sadly. I gave my ISP a call as well, since I was told they might be blocking the IP. They're not blocking the IP, like I thought, so i'm stumped - no idea what to do.

Problem solved!

I decided to give the support another little chat, and basically said "I have reason to believe you're blocking my IP address to access my site, unblock it." Two minutes later, my site was appearing fine to me.

Thanks to all who checked my site for me.

Telstra, although it wasn't them blocking my IP, it was the hosting company itself, blocking me from viewing my own site.

And they repeatedly told me it was an ISP problem, and didn't even bother to check the IP banned list...

Seriously, who woulda thought?? Glad to hear you got it sorted. That doesn't explain why you saw the cpanel landing page though
