I've been seeing a lot of people asking how to increase the fire rate, and i've spent half my morning experimanting on how to do it. So I threw this little vid together, and i'll explain how to do it. It's an example of increasing the fire rate on EAI's MP5N.

Here's how (based on MP5N):

Where it says:

(This is located at "C: Program FilesThe Game CreatorsFPS CreatorFilesgamecoregunsModel Pack 9MP5N" in the gunspec)

Change it to:

And then it will start firing quicker. But, it will still sound the same. So, you change:

Learn from it what you may.

On the contrary, even if it appears to fire quicker, it is, infact, not firing quicker. I've gone through the source - Lee has a fixed firerate of 6 loops (12 ms). One of the things I modified when working with the 107 source was allowing that to be defined in the gunspec.

So you're saying that you could change the fire rate in the gunspec?
