Well.. I've made a model with SketchUp, saved it as 3ds, converted to x, made an UV map of the texture and still, my textures won't show up. Any ideas?

You did remember not to have the evil blue faces of doom, right?

If so, then it might be that you've mis written the FPE or something, WE need you to tell us more about what You've done, oh, and if you're using more than one texture that could be your problem....

I DID remember the blue faces. And I don't use multiple textures.
Ok: I'll explain more detailed:

1: I open SketchUp and make a simple box for a test.
2: Then I export my model into .3ds.
3: Then I open 3Dobject converter and convert it to .x
4: Then I open LithUnwrap, open the model with it, select all the mesh and then I go to tool/uv mapping/decal. After this, I set it to 'front'. Then I click OK.
5: I see the shape of my model and I save the model as .x and the UV map as .tga.
6: After this, I open the UV Map, and draw simple green lines for a test.
7: Then I copy the model and texture to FPS Creator/Files/Entitybank/User
8: After this, I open 'Make entities from .x files' AKA entitymaker and do my tricks.
9: After this, my job is to take snapshot but I notice that the texture is not in the model
10: I open FPS Creator to see if it could be there but the texture isn't there.

Hope this was enough

Hmmm....The only thing I could say is maybe you mis-spelt the texture name?

Otherwise, I really don't know what's wrong with it....

I didn't miss-spell the texture name. Oh man. Thanks anyway. I hope someone else knows the answer.

and the UV map as .tga.

gotta make sure you're .tga is a 24bit, not a 32 or you're highest bit, fpsc cant read the newest form of tga i figured that out, so make sure you save your .tgas as 24 bit not 32. maybe thats it?

I tried it. Didn't work. I got one idea though. Gonna test it now.

EDIT: Didn't work neither.

it's just a shot in the dark but maybe you have to put a _d2 in the textures name, like rockmap_d2.tga...
and have you tried entity workshop? it exports static entities only but i found it easy to edit the .fpe when required afterwards and it makes a .dds texture for you from .jpg, .bmp and .tga....no naming convention req.

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

It sounds as if you have an alpha channel in your .TGA file. Open the image and delete the alpha channel.
