My first single player game Reality Check. It is a scifi game. Here is a new story thanks to Gunn3r.

My name is Conner Williams. At 17 years old, I have it all: a dad who loves to hunt, a hot girlfriend and great grades at school. Recently, rumors have started to pop up about the nearby EcoMission Warehouse. People are saying that the warehouse isn't that at all. It's some sort of training facility. Against my better judgement, I decided to find the truth behind all these rumors. What was in that warehouse?
One night, while my dad was at work, I decided to sneak out, taking a blaster with 2 rounds in it. As I reached for the door on the side of the facility, only the noise of the hovercars zooming over head filled my ears. I was hesitant to open that door. I'm not sure why I did, honestly. When I went through, the door behind me slammed with a metal clang. The first door I came upon was marked: "Virtual Reality Training". So that was it. It wasn't really a warehouse at all, but a training ground for some sort soldier. Again, curiousity got the better half of me, and I found myself entering that training room. Why I did it, I'm not quite sure, but this is my Reality Check.

Okay the rest will come in the game. I have level one done which is the "warehouse" itself and have level two done and i am not going to tell you about that here is a screen of level two for you. Thats all i will show you until i get level one screens which are comin in a little bit.

The game has been finished here is the download: http://www.filefactory.com/file/cce3dd/

Story isn't that bad. A little cliche, but not that bad.

Here's a rewrite. Same story, but a little more gripping.

Hope you like it. Feel free to use whatever part of it you want.

When you get something resembling a demo or a beta, or even a level or two, sign up for the Gunn3r Games forums and have it reviewed. I'll review it for you and tell you some helpful stuff. Instead of, "You need to work on entity placement", you'll get "The barrel in the corner would also look good in front of the shelves and you might want to change the light value on the light underneath the stairs to something just a tad higher."

No problem. It's why I created that, so that people can get a good review of their game so that they can get better overall, and make a better game.

read the review.. okay i have already added light sources but the virtual levels will have no light sources... fixed some entities to static... and no i am not going to add haders because many cant view them or i could make a shader version and a non-shader version... updated texture to bump a little... and this is my first overall game that i actually put work into (except for my only games multiplayer ones) and i really want somebody else insteadof Gunn3r to post i really want some comments

Edit: working on next level right now... I call it Darkness just to say it includes a HUGE pitch black pit that may never end

Darkness looks good. The maze looks a bit "meh" tbh ;p

I spose you could use it to your advantage though. Why not have the start levels have a very bright white light, but as you proceed, the lights get dimmer and dimmer and dimmer. This could symbolise the difficulty getting harder, or simply that the puzzled are becoming more dangerous. Just an idea!

Oh, unless the sci-fi setting is crucial to the storyline, I think it would be cool to have this in a modern setting so that it is much more shocking when you find this super high tech virtual reality training centre. Just a suggestion

new screens of level 6 (or what i call it... twisted) which features ALOT of boxes floating with noe gravity and pits with platforms that collapse under you weight...starting placeBad news... when i loaded level one in the editor to test it the level went all weird... segments were missing and everything was flashing even though shaders werent on so i will have to make level one again and it will have a better entity placement this time

What I'm saying is that you can't expect that for free. Maybe $15-20 if they do it REALLY cheap. If you want to make a good game, there are expenses.
