Also Current Owners will get the optiont to upgrade from their Professional versions for only $24.99 USD.

The Suite itself will more than likely run around $69.99 USD for Pro. Now you may think that this is a little up there in price but concidering we will be hosting Owners Game files on our servers with FTP access this is pretty cheap. We also realize you could get your game files hosted else where for free as well, but we are saving you that step to make it and easier experience.

Looks nice and promising!

Could be really cool if it was easy for the developer to use the online activation system. In the current version it looks like a lot of manual work for every sale IMO.

Choosing your own icons for the game and its installer should also be standard. Ideally PGP is made transparant to the buyer.

FPSC X9 games should get an option to run at desktop resolution (like X10 does).

Will there be several versions or just one this time?

We are shooting for one version this time so it can be a Master Suite. The installer is already in the system and has been it uses INNO for the setup installer. As for the Icons that is one that we are currently working to see how we can get it done, as that requires the code to recompile itself everytime.

If anyone has a Visual Basic Code that would allow for Icons to be selected and then re-compiled on an EXE that would be great.

PGP is currently transparent to the buyer as it is now excluding the fact if you give them an online activation code for the the game or not.

For this version we want to give the Developers as much support and features as they need, so that flexibility is a must.

Also keep in mind PGP works with alot of major Indie Game Engines Like Torque, Blitz, etc.

If we can get it to work with AGEIA, then we should be able to do all this for FPSC

Sounds nice!

I will see if I can come up with other feature ideas.

When do you plan to release and what owners will be valid for a low cost upgrade (Standard/Advanced/Professional/Developer)?

The release date is still about 2 months out due to there is alot of code that needs to be intergrated into it because of the new features. Most of hte code is there so it may go quicker. Futhermore there is still BETA testing that needs to go on. Plus still want to see what features Clients want to see or what we can add in. The Standard Edition itself will not be able to be upgraded due to for the longest time, it was made free to the public and still is ever now and then when we make it available for free. Currently it is priced at $4.99 due to we used over 50 Gigs of bandwidth in 2 weeks when it was free, and for a product that was only 4MB in size thats alot of downloads lol. We still make it free whenever we can.

Current owners will be able to upgrade from the follwoing editions:

Advanced Edition: Upgrade will be - $39.99 USD
Professional Edition: Upgrade will be - $24.99 USD
Developer Edition: Upgrade will be - $39.99 USD

NOTE: The Advanced edition may not be able to upgrade because it sold for $9.99 on sale and regular priced at $24.99 This is still in discussion

All prices are not yet set in stone. The Suite will almost be like owning the Developer Edition so with that said, previous edtions for X9 will no longer be updated as these features and changes will be within the Suite Edition.

IF you can provide proof that it was transferred to you we will honor it.

As far as updates, Updates have been going on ever since we took over it, there just hasn't been very main updates, and older copies we do update its just not an automated thing due to all the changes that have taken place since BETA testings.

The current verion that is available on our site does not, however the new version in which we are speaking will support both X9 and X10 for the Icon changing.

The current version and new version already support Splash screens and Lanuch Screens.

Sorry but I dont see any attaached pics that you speak of.

Our tutorials are online at our site a few videos, as well as help in our Forums from our staff and members.

What version you get is completely up to you. Pro versions and higher allow up to 3 Splash Videos. Advanced allows 1. The Standard Version doesn't allow any.

As for the Launch screen, it seems you are talking about a mini launch menu outside the application like some games have and not the ingame launcher correct?

If thats the case we dont have anything like that in place yet, But I am sure we can add it to our list. But then again they have programs like AutoPlay that do what you are talking about.

PGP already does that and has a installer, once installed and protected by PGP, all files are encrypted and stored encrypted.

This has already been a feature of PGP since the beginning.

Looks good, FastBurst. I use PGP Professional for my games for X9. Looking forward to using this as well, seeing as I can get X10 now. (And not paying attention, I saw the title as WIN Phoenix Game Protector )

@ Punk13 - Advanced is good to but will only allow 1 Splash Screen, you may want to go to http://www.phoenix-sentry.com/product_detail.php?detail=1 and see the comparison chart to see if this will be best for your needs.

@ gunn3r - glad to hear you like and use the application. Do you have any suggestions or changes you would like to see in future builds?

The "Third Party Apps allowed during gameplay", are they launched through the task manager or do they have to be launched at the start of the game? Can the third-party windows be made to always stay on top, or do they lose focus during gameplay?

Well, it looks like you've got everything that I would have asked for in this Suite that you've got here. I'll have a question for you later, but as of right now, I'm okay.

@Uthink - Sorry a little lost on what you mean, which Third Party Apps? I don't think I mentioned anything about 3rd Party apps.

So please explain a little more on what you are referring to, please.

On your website, the comparison chart has a features titled "Most all 3rd party apps allowed during gameplay"

I guess I need to know what that means.

@Uthink - DarkFact has originally programmed the application to not run or stop running if it had programs that tried to hack it to not allow.

So he placed some security features in the system to allow or disallow 3rd paty apps like Task Manager, IM's, Copy Functions, and a whole lot of other applications. It was mainly to try and stop people from trying to get teh game files once extracted and decrypted.

I am really not interested in having you host the game files on your server.

Will we be able to host the files on our own website and generate the keys from our own websites??

@Squalker, The hosting of game files is completely up to you, we are offering it as a service to clients.

AS hosting your own site, yes you can, however only Dev and higher licenses can validate against them.

Everyone that has purchased previous version will be able to upgrade for an upgrade price.

Why? well in all sense this is not the same application in any sense. http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=123902&b=33

Please refer the above link to see why. There are so many new things that well not even possible with the last builds that this is a whole new product now. However since we do know we do have a great client database of users already, we will let previous customers try out the application as well as upgrade.

That's great to hear. I've seen a lot of "X10" projects get dropped. Like Rolfy's weather hud, various MP conversions etc.

Glad to see you're still committed.
