Tron?

You should probably go for one of those new fangled sci-fi movie type names that sound like someone generated them with code, like Aeon Flux.

Got any pics? I usually get inpirations for names from pics. If you don't have any pics, than try to describe visual details about the game. I'm sure I can come with at least one cool game name.

You could probably pick a cool name from any anti-virus prog's list of quarantined viruses, trojans, malwares.

Sounds a bit like Megaman Battle Network. Anyway, the name sort of depends on the style of the game. Like if it's Japanese style like Megaman then something like Virus Buster or Net Buster works. If it's more Sci-Fi then I think Van's advice is good. You could go with other names as well depending on the story or use the main character's name like in Johnny Mnemonic.

I like the name Torrent. That's a great suggestion.

A torrent is a file used on bitTorrent. So people may confuse it with a actual torrent

You're probably going to be locked away in the next few hours, but I'll let you know anyways that torrents weren't initially meant for pirating.

.torrent is a Bit Torrent file format. Basically it allows people to download and upload the same file simultaneously from and to others that are downloading the same file. There are pay per download services that uses it, IIRC Warner was looking into using it. I recall Blizzard using it for large downloads. The advantage of using BT is high down speeds without a high load on the server.

Woohoo, people like my suggestion!

You could always change it slightly to Torent... but i doubt anyone will get confused. And even if they do, the fact that it's a game will clear up their confusion.

Torrents are the only (read: best) way to get large files like linux distros. Gone are the days that it takes a day of slow downloading just to get a distro. With torrents the download nearly always uses up my full bandwidth, if the file's popular

How does "The Last Stand" pertain to a game about computer viruses? In, like, any way at all.

besides, X-Men took Last Stand and turned it into a crap movie.

Anyway, ideas.

Circuit Clash, Circuits Collide, Motherboard Horde, Tower Defence (Hah! Hah! No), Gigahurtz, System Shock, Bad Memory, Data Haters, Virus Storm, Binary Blasters, Binary Wars, Hex Dex (Assuming you'd call a chip a deck, and I wouldn't), Digit Dealers, Wingdings at War, CompuWar, Bit Blaster, Byte Fight, File: Corrupted, Reverse Engineer Squad, 300mb, Circuit Scramblers, Crash, The Unexecutable, Validate This!, Terror Byte, System Saviour, Virus Wars (ehh), Bad Connection, Risk Drive, The Patch.

Give me an ounce of Puyo, good apothecary, to sweeten my imagination.
