And WOW, I love that game! It's been a long time since I've played a game that at the end leaves me yelling at my computer screen because I want more. I had no idea that the [Spoiler... I guess?]
and the game ended!!! No way!!! Not fair!

I can't wait for the second one! It's going to be a trilogy though, so I'll have to wait again after I beat the next one.

I was very impressed by the game as a whole. It was visually stunning, second to none with it's graphics, the music was nice, the buttons were laid out well and the gameplay was freaking amazing.

I remember at one point during a huge firefight I started laughing cynically because I had turned around and when I had done so, this alien threw this car and it landed about 2 yards in front of me, exploded and tumbled out of sight; it scared the crap out of me! It was totally exhilerating and so realistic and it felt like I was there and part of the fight. I honestly can't remember a game that has done that for me, ever. Half-Life 2 doesn't even come close to this.

My only complaint was a few of the map glitches I encountered at the end of the game. I had to go back a few saves because I fell threw part of the aircraft carrier deck (passed right through a solid deck) and couldn't get back up due to level mechanics but... I didn't mind it so much. They put a lot of work into this game and with it being so cutting edge it wouldn't have been humanly possible to fix every single bug.

No, I hated far cry for some reason. I enjoyed Crysis much much better. It was built on the same engine of course, and maybe some of the gameplay elements were similiar but in my opinion it's not enough to call it the same.

Lol, jimmy.

I didnt like far cry.
BUT I LOVE CRYSIS!!!
The gameplay is so much better, etc.
Can't wait for #2!!
The XPS 620 (or 640 I forget) can play it on full GFX for 1000 $.

Why do people do that, it really bugs me. "Etc." should only be used if you're listing more than one thing in the first place. If all you can think of is one point, "etc." doesn't count as a second... Ugh.

I beat the demo, there is a big boat on the top of hill, you start having a tea party with your team then a big squid monster thing swoops down and kills one of your team then it fades to black. It's a long demo worth downloading. I'll buy the full thing when it's cheaper just got my hands on Quake 4 for £4 thats how long I wait

I'd like to big up Quake 4 on the back of this because wierdly it's the opposite, i thought i was at the end but the game got longer! Was blowing up the strog stronghold when 2 boss moster entered the room, I killed them off then a super big boss entered. I thought it was the final monster, as it rock hard to kill, but when i died I was subjected to 10mins of having my arms and legs amputated (graphically) and replaced with Strog parts. My team rescued me just before my brain got drilled so the game continues with you running around half human half strog. Was a nice surprise after thinking I was dead

That demo was awesome. The game is way better though, bigger villages to attack, etc.

Crap, I did it again!
I keep thinking that you should pull the rest of the ideas out of my head...

bigger villages to attack, more guns, more epic plot twists, more epic battles, and awesome fights with korean nanosuit soldiers in graveyards.

Wow, that's a pretty decent demo for it.

I have a Inspiron 1520 Laptop from dell and it played fine at 1280x1024 at medium graphics (expect for two areas I needed at low but it didn't really change much). It's packing at Nvidia 8600M GT with two gigs of ram and a core 2 duo @2.2Ghz.

That tweak guide site did a lot for optimizing it too. I went through and changed a few variables game .ini wise and it seemed to work out nicely.

i loved crisis, but the ending pissed me off. now ill have save my money up to buy the sequel. the multi player is incredible though, i love it. its like counterstrike but ten times better. ea makes the best online games ever. I love EA's games, but i hate the company.

another thing ive noticed was how the game is completely different if you change the graphics from low to normal. after playing it on low graphics, which is still incredible, i saw my dad play it on his comp on normal, and the aliens looked compleatly different, the houses where destructible, and there was just so much more there, so i have played this game 20 times, slowly getting tweaks to let my computer handle it as i move up the graphics

Fek its EA, if it's anything like BF2142 you won't be able to buy one secound hand.

I think someone should complain to the EU Competitions Commision about how games companies are screwing the secondary market to force everyone to buy new!!!

Why don't you do it then?

It's not illegal so there's no point in complaining.

Nope besides, there are always ways around anti-piracy stuff on disks. The only way to do it really is how steam does it.

Think it was a few days after hl2 came out it was funny.

The absolute worst copy protection was bioshock, that was just rubbish. The copy protection was so good no one could bloody play it. It needed online verification and the server crashed or something.

Appararently it is working fine now but I still can't get it to bloody work lol. The piraters were playing the game before anyone else legitimately could start playing cause of the broken system. How screwed up is that? I can understand how people can switch to piracy/cracks after buying a £40 game and finding you cant play it for 2 weeks.

Makers of bioshock said they were proud that they prevented piraters from cracking their game for 3 days.... Despite the fact that there were so many problems with the system no-one could play it legitimately

Actually, there's a crack I saw on youtube that makes steam believe you have purchased every game in their library, and allows you to download and play them, just as if they were official. Of course I doubt you can enter official multiplayer servers.

You can tell it wasnt the same engine. Far cry actually has graphics that are only "ok" to todays standards, which was the best cryengine could do. Cryengine 2 is used to compare scenes with real life and duplicate commercials and see how close they are etc.

EDIT:
Currently trying to beat it on Delta.
