Hey,
I thought I'd share some cool pics I shot while playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl . If you have some good ones, you have to transfer them from the "Vault" to an SD card then download this: http://www.mediafire.com/?zmcldd9nv2t
and use it to convert the .bin's to .jpg's.

Anyways, here they are, enjoy .

The Wii doesn't even support AA?

I think it's just the pic quality, not sure though.

Meh, I got spoiled 'cause I always have 4x AA and 16x AF on in my graphics driver.

I don't need AA. I just run my games at 1680x1050 on my 22" screen, but if the framerate allows for it I'll turn 2x or 4x on

And who cares if the Wii has AA or not. It's obviously not a graphics machine so who cares?

What's the point in having AA as an option on a console? If it can do it, it should do it.

And I don't think it'd be a matter of the "Wii" specifically supporting it, as you can handle AA with software.

A sharper or softer appearance. Sometimes AA looks too fuzzy in lower resolutions (I.E. normal TV res) The tv makes it fuzzy enough so I always left melee looking sharp (no AA)

I wouldn't imagine AA being that much of a visual hindrance on SDTVs. Kind of weird. I guess I'll have to see for myself when I eventually get Brawl.

It used to look rubbish with the AA enabled on my old 9in TV. It looked better with it disabled, but Hyrule Temple was still impossible.

You can activate AA in God of War on PS2, don't know if any other PS2 game supports it. It's off by default for some odd reason. It makes the game look better on my 19" TV.

BTW, the shots looks great

Who's that blue guy BTW?

Jeff032:
And that would be the reason for the option of turning it off! Most people have large TVs so I think AA should be on by default.

Not really, a lot of people still play on smaller TV's. Its better to leave it off, and just let people choose.

that would be Ike

BTW has anyone beaten adventure mode? if yes then heres my opinion the ending cut scene sucks it's too cheesy they at least could have put more effort into it. Other than that the Grapics were great and the cut scenes were stunning(most of them)

The average gamer is 33 years old (according to ESA) so most likely they have a very large TV. My TV is 19" and can be considered as quite small today. People can still decide even if AA is on by default.

Personally I think 600x100px is better, 120px really catches the eye, it's annoying. But that was decided back in 2004... I resized mine down to 85px because it looks better and loads faster (I also wasn't aware of the limit)

Quite off topic

I too have been playing as Link (Thanks to my freeloader and American copy of the game Take that Nintendo )

It's very hard to take good action shots as I'm not ready to stop and take pics when the cool stuff is happening :-P.... Anyway here are some I took...

This is for games - my regular res is 1024x768 of course.
