After googling about procedural stuff for about half an hour I found this game. Its an FPS which is only 97kb in size! On the website it says that if the media was stored normally it would be 300+ MB. Download attached.

Heck, it's a fun game, and the graphics... how they managed it, I have no idea.

I played this a year or so ago - It really amazing how they fit it into 96k or whatever. Glitchy though. One time when I played it was in noclip mode.

This is an oldie, we at Starwraith 3D Games usually use it when explaining how its possible that all the content of Evochron Renegades and Arvoch Conflict fit into less than 30MB. We actually have a website page dedicated to .kkrieger on our website!

This is cool. I had a collision glitch once, but nevermind.

As cool as this project is, I recommend that if you want to make a game you don't do it this way. Anything that is likely to change in your game engine (i.e. guns, levels, etc) should be externally stored. Saves having to recompile when fixing things in media, and makes maintanance easier.

[off topic]

tha_rami, I didn't know you were one of the StarWraith people

Don't you just hate that Zotoaster guy?

As far as I know these same people who did this were hired by EA to work on Spore.

There are tons of amazing demos you can find on the net that are even under 64k. Amazing stuff!

Not really 'one of the Starwraith people', I'm more like a spokesperson for SW3D and main member of the SW3D community.

Haven't played yet. But your signature is too large, 600x120 are the rules.

This has been posted a few years ago I believe. Spore also uses not just procedural textures, but supposedly procedural music as well.

Procedural everything! Models, textures and animations at least. Not sure but perhaps the sounds the creatures makes as well.
