Newcomers DBPro Corner / dbp-scrolling text?

im trying to do a credit style scrolling text.

Can anybody help me with this, the text does not need to fade, or change colour, just go from the top, to the bottom and off the page.


I think we should me a whole thread called 'help dan'...i need it

im just going to read through some tutorials to see if anything can help me

Just replace the first two lines with it's equivalent expanded-out version:


Then press the space bar to see the scrolling message. It's a bit fast, but I'm sure you can fix it

Ian - Thanks, I dont have DarkBasic installed here at work to test it, but i should have noticed that, I've corrected the code above now

dan958 - This is a very basic version, But with practice you should be able to expand on it to suit your purpose more

thanks MSon and ian, i have already changed the code so i dont have to press space bar, and im changing the speed now.

cant change the speed any lower :S,

the bit i am changing i can only make go faster

when i put -1 or 0.90, nothing shows.
