Hi, I am painting myself a texture for a character that I plan to bring into x10. When I finish it and UV map the colour texture in Blender (the modeling program that I am using) what other textures do I need for x 10 and how do I apply them to the model?

I understand that I need a normal map, a diffuse map (which I am making) a specularity map and a bump map.

When I make those textures, how will I attatch them to my model (and in what software) so that they are ready for x 10?

I know that you can use the entity maker that you can download ofs FPSC website, but does that work for x 10 characters?

Thanks!

ok...

first you obviously need to UV it (i advise smart unwrap, the bottom selection)

then go to UV>scripts>save UV face layout

now export your model as 3ds (x doesn't work)
Download a file i will upload in a sec to convert models

set up all your files and it should work

I believe this is to do with blenders .x exporter, if so, that is how to fix it
