Argh! My first 64bit Vista issue

I need a free firewall. I use ZoneAlarm on 32bit Vista fine but it won't run on 64bit and Zone Labs don't have one to download.

So anyone got any suggestions on a replacement?

Thanks.

Norton internet security. Best thing out there, ever, with great firewalls.
(if it runs on 64)

Seriously? Why not stick with the windows firewall? It's perfectly sufficient if you have a regular router firewall

Norton is a pile of pants, i've never encountered any problems with the built in windows one, i also have the one built into my router.

Looks like i'll have to learn to love windows firewall but I don't trust it to do it's job I just installed AVG Free Antivirus and it went off to the internet to do an update an windows firewall didn't even ask if it was okay to let this new program use the internet!!! It's not even in the exeptions list!

Beggars can't be choosers.

AVG is very slow, and it checks every file even if it couldn't ever execute. DOH! but it's free.

If I had a choice I'd buy F-secure I know from experience it's fast.

AVG is pretty nice for a free tool. Never had any issues with it. I recommend it to everyone. Beats the crap out of Norton in every way as far as I'm concerned.

well most test results say norton isn't very good, also the windows firewall doesn't check outbound traffic or something along those lines i will have to look it up

I use avast for anti-virus purposes and I love the way it tells me if I've even started to download a virus.

On the matter of firewalls try the one I'm using:
