When is an Administrator account not an Adminitrator account?

ANSWER: When it's a Microsoft Vista 64bit Premium SP1 Administrator account!!!!

It wont let the admin make text files under C: or in the 'programs' direcotries!

I never had this problem with Vista 32bit Home, maybe it's a SP1 thing or a Premium thing?

I can't edit my html files with notepad because they are in a 'htdocs' directory under the 'programs' directory!

Argh anyone know a way around this rubbish? (please dont say Linux)

I was hoping to keep user account control, i just don't want the admin account limited.

just can't understand why it blocks the administrator and pops up a message "you don't have access to do this contact an administrator" Grr! I am the flippin administrator!

OK found a solution, thank god for command prompt..

Logon to Vista using your usual account.
Launch the cmd prompt - Make sure you select, 'Run as administrator'
Net user administrator p£ssw0rD
Net user administrator /active:yes
Switch User, or logoff
Logon as Administrator Password p£ssw0rD

NOW YOU HAVE A REAL ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT!!!
